The Finals Season 2 Explained. Full Theory Breakdown
I think the theme and the music all tie into Shabuya Crossing and the fact that we're going to Japan, but now it begs the question, When are we going to Japan? This is the really powerful part of the finals game, and it's that we can do anything we want. I mean, even the cosmetics are so much more customizable than any other first-person shooter you play out there right now, and that's because of how diverse the game is.
Aliens are taking over, and it just makes more sense to go for it, but with retro-themed article games and Shuya Crossing in Japan. I think going backwards in time would pay a lot more homage to its theme and just the quirkiness of the environment to include all of this.
The theory is that we're going to Japan, specifically Shabuya Crossing, in season 2 of the finals, where it's set in the early 80s or '90s. Japan started to take over the retro. gaming scene, and I think this all adds up to be one beautiful and heck of a season, and to really finish it off, though we do have some theories on what we could be getting later on in the season, if you pay attention to some of the earliest trailers of the finals and even some of the official artwork that they've released, we have gotten pictures of samurai, and when you research to see if there's any Samurai Japanese themed holidays or events, it actually comes up that there's about four traditional samurai parades held in early April, which would be a great time to launch some midseason.
Cosmetics and possibly even events revolving around the theme of these parades. This would be a great way to tie in real-life events into a Japan-themed season while being accurate to the actual date of them taking place, and so yeah, with all that being said. I think that it's wrapping up to be a pretty exciting leadup to season 2.
We've also gotten that other teaser that we've started to see in the game a few days ago where the parts of the map are starting to glitch out. This can be seen across a variety of the maps in the game; they're kind of hard to spot, but when you do see them, there is a bit of a glitch effect. We don't know what this means; we don't know if this is the CNS hacker.
We don't know if this is possibly a title for Arc Raiders, which is Embark, or another major title that they're working on, so yeah, it could be a lot of things. We'll just kind of have to wait and see. I'm thinking that's another article we could make in the next few days.
