Season 2: Gadget & Weapon Deep Dive. Next Potential Meta - The Finals

game

no problem You're the only one portal and a jump pad away from getting there in less than 20 seconds, allowing your team to set up for the team that thinks that they're going to grab an easy th000 from tagging The Vault, or, let's just say, your team is trying to steal a cash box that's located in the building, and the opposing team has blocked off all entryways except for the windows.

no problem Just throw the gateway at your feet and the other through a window, and bam, you have a flank. This can even be applied to floating platforms. Or even if your team has a heavy that has a nuke just waiting to be delivered to the enemy team, well, say no more, send that nuke through the portal, and boom, no more enemy team.

Depending on how far this limited range is, you could possibly even combine it with Dash to increase the throw distance of the gateway, allowing your team to cover even more distance with it. Or, let's say you're in the final round and the enemy team thinks they have a jump on you because you're by yourself.

gameplay

No problem just throw one portal down at your feet and the other towards your teammates, and if you have good coordination, you can even have your medium place a couple of mines at the exit of that portal to then completely decimate the team that is jumping out of it. Yeah, and one more thing: let's say you want to prevent the team from grabbing the vault at the last minute.

No problem throw the gateway and undisclosed CL location, then throw the other in the opposite direction of the cash box, and just hop in between the two, confusing the ever-living [__] out of the enemy team. You can even be more toxic with it and have your teammates lay traps at one of the destinations.

But out of all these possibilities, let's just be honest here. What we really want to see is a light to use the portal to throw a nuke right back at a heavy, and in my opinion, it's not if it's going to happen; it is when, because, trust me, knowing how crafty this community is, someone's going to pull it off within the next few days.

The last gadget on this list is the medium data reshaper. This is a gadget that changes enemy fortifications, or any random object for that matter, into something entirely different, like turning an enemy mine into a chair or an enemy turret into a table. It is supposed to be great to break through enemy defenses.

And maybe just maybe we could change a red crister heading right towards you into a chair, hopefully in a perfect world. Hope, so the point being that it is great to break through enemy defenses, but in my opinion, this is the weakest out of the three. I may be completely wrong about this, but depending on how far you need to be to get this gadget to work activated, it could make you a sitting duck.

From my experience in Diamond Lobbies going up against top 500 players on a consistent basis, there is rarely a time when a turret or a mine is placed at an enemy's cash boox without a player being present near or adjacent to the location, so while you're getting up close to change that object, you are essentially a sitting duck for the enemy team to gun you down.

I really hope this is not the case, and again, I could be completely wrong about this. This is all in theory, but in my opinion, the data reshaper is essentially a glitch grenade with extra steps if you could somehow combine it with the new specialization. If you found this article informative, it's a small button for you, but it makes an immense impact on this small channel.

And subscribe for all things finals. Peace and*
