Tons of players in the finals are struggling with lagging or just finding the most optimal settings to perform their best in game, so today I'll not only go over the best settings for the finals. I'll also be covering some vital information that you need to know out of game to maximize your performance in game and let you play better, so let's dive into it.

First off, I want to talk about in-game settings. Starting off with the gameplay tab, use enemy team colors to make the outline and health bar of the enemy that you're damaging show in the same color as your team, so you'll want to keep this one on hide. Player names should be set to off because, in some cases, you might need to tell the difference between two enemies.

In almost all cases, you'll want to set your preferred region to automatic. In my case, I have M set to Europe because that's where I live, but since I live here, it doesn't actually make a difference. Motion blur should always be disabled, and the same goes for lens distortion; it's just a cinematic effect that ends up making the game feel less consistent around the screen's edges. As for rate tracing, it can look really cool, but in most cases it will be a huge hit to your frames, even if you have a good graphics card, so in most cases you want to turn it off by setting it to static.

That being said, if you have good, solid, and consistent frames, you can also set them to dynamic, which lets the light lighting update a bit more clearly when buildings are destroyed, which can light up some areas and increase visibility where it normally would be pretty dark.
