The Only Movement Guide You Need For The Finals

I jump, I shift, and then I crouch. You see, I can slide right afterwards. This is a good way to catch people off guard if you're going to Chow somebody up on a roof; they're most likely not going to be expecting it. You can also come off the zip line in any direction that you want. Not a lot of people know this, and it's really helpful, especially in those four-story buildings that have the zip lines going up to each floor.

So if I go up the zipline and I hold a and I jump off early, you see, I shoot out left all the way over here. Same thing if I go up and I hold D, and I jump off a little bit early. I get that big boost, and I go right. You can also do it going backwards; you just have to hold on when you jump off.

This is a really good trick to recognize that when you're fighting in those buildings, like maybe you're going up, you're shooting somebody, and you want to get off the floor early, you hold s and go backwards, and you can still shoot them as you're going up the zip line. You don't have to look all the way around and jump off.

Another cool thing to know is that if you're fighting someone right next to a zipline, you can get a pretty good jump off the zip line and catch them off guard, sort of similar to how it works in Apex. But you don't want to do it immediately, you want to ride the zip up a little bit otherwise it won't give you that full speed boost you'll just kind of get like a little dead jump like that a basic thing but it's good to know that some people might not know you can just 180 on a zipline so say you take it you're going the wrong way you need to go back you can just jump right off 180 and attach back to it you can also spam interact, on zip lines so if someone's shooting at you while you're on it instead of going in a straight line up and down the zip you can just Spam your interact, key in your jump key and it'll make you a lot harder to hit the next thing that we're going to be covering is Jump pads and now just about every map there's jump pads that spawn in the map these are going to be the ones that give you the really big speed boosts.

And there's a couple of extra things that you can do with the medium, like class with your jump pad, but we'll talk about that a little bit later when I go over the class-specific things. The first thing, and one that's kind of obvious, is that you want to make sure that you're sliding into the jump pad.

You go a lot faster and further. Sure, you go to the same height whether you slide or stand straight up, and I'll just show you guys that real quick, so this is how I go if I just stand straight up. So you can see. I probably hit it like around there or so, but if I slide into it. I'm pretty much the same exact height so 90%, of the time you want to be sliding into this the only exception is like if there's a roof like directly above you obviously you don't want to slide into it you just want to go straight up you can also slide coming out of a jint pad if you're standing straight up but you have to make sure that you have a Sprint CU before you do it otherwise it's just going to look like this you're just going to be you know, crouching nothing's happening but if I do the same exact thing but I hit Sprint, right before I get to the ground I can slide perfectly, but if you just slide into the jump pad you don't need to worry about Sprint you can immediately slide right afterwards when you land and you also saw the clip in the very beginning of the article where I was just infinite sliding all over the map.

You pad me onto the. Roof, come over. Here, the world jump pads are really good for that; they give you a massive speed boost and allow you to carry on momentum for a while, and if you want to do that. I found the best way to do it consistently is sprinting in between each slide jump. I noticed that lets me get the most slide jumps in a row consistently, and the last basic movement technique that I want to talk about is mantling.

It's very important to understand the basics of mantling. If you guys didn't know, if you look up, you can mantle way higher, so notice that if I look up in this spot right here, I can climb, but if I'm in the same spot, I'm just looking regular. I cannot climb, so to get the maximum vertical reach, you want to always make sure that you're looking up.

If you guys didn't know, you can also chain your climbs in this game as well, which is the clip that you saw at the very beginning of this. Video i actually learned that tip from L. If you guys don't know who L is, he's an absolute beast. I could chain two mantels together to get on top of the roof, and I'll just show you guys how to do that real quick.

So if you're in a window, you just have to go backwards a little bit, press s, jump, hold W, and look straight up. It might be a little bit confusing at first, but if you keep practicing it, it'll become really easy. This is a really good spot to do it, but then you can also chain climb, so I'll show you guys that real quick.

I know it's going to be a little bit difficult to get that down at first, but just keep practicing it. This is really good to learn, especially for those that have really tall, four-story buildings. This is such a good way to outplay people, and then for the stair climb, there isn't really a way to practice it, but it works really well on most of the stairwells and all the maps, and it's actually a lot easier to do than the window clim.

All you do as soon as you mantle is turn around, do a 180-degree look straight up, and then mantle again, and then you just keep repeating that process. This one is actually, surprisingly, fairly easy, and it also just looks really sick, and it's so much faster than going up the entire stairwell. Going up each individual stair can save you so much time, but now I'm going to go over some class-specific things.

First, I'm going to be covering the light class, then doing the medium, and then a couple of tips for heavy as well. So the first thing for the light class is that you can actually dash in and out of windows. It's a really good way to catch people off guard, and if you're constantly chaining this with window climbs, you're going to break people's ankles.

Look back and then hit your dash button. You can also do it with a slide jump. This is really good because a lot of the time, when you go out of a window, the other player thinks that you're just going to run away. You're most likely going to catch them off guard and be able to get a few easy shots before they notice you, and then for those of you that don't know.

Dash doesn't only go forward; it's dependent on whatever directional bind you're hitting, so if I'm holding W, it'll go forward; if I'm holding D, it'll go to the right; and finally, if I'm holding S,. I'll go backwards, just something that I don't think a lot of people realize yet most players that I watch play light are only dashing forward.
