The only thing that will vary if you solo out is the skill level of your teammates. Well, from bronze to silver, there is a high possibility that you will receive ranks that are at least higher than yours as teammates.
For example, being a bronze player and getting a diamond and a gold player as your two teammate this will essentially give you the illusion that your matches from bronze to Gold are easier, but in reality they were not what most likely happened is that you had really good teammates that complimented your skill assuming that you were one of the players with a very high ELO, but really never invested any time in ranked on the other hand when you get to gold one and Beyond, you will receive players that are most likely significantly lower than your current rank going against other teams that are most likely stacked, the only question is are you the lucky player that is paired with two other players that have high elos just like yourself but just didn't play much ranked or are you going to be stuck with players that actually have no idea what they're doing but with that being said the only plus side and the most important thing you have to remember, is that diamond can be attained through persistence.
