6 Beginner Tips To Get Better The Finals

Who's securing the point? Are they the last-place team that actually poses no threat to you on the leaderboard? Maybe help them out by picking off the other enemies as they go for the steel; don't take it for yourself, but keep them defended because maybe helping another team defend the point will actually help you qualify in the long run, or you target one team in particular who are your biggest threat, so maybe you've got the lead, but you see.

Two more teams are cashing out; one of them is a bigger threat than the other Target that team. Sometimes you don't need to secure the cash out to qualify; you just need to hinder the other teams , and this leads to my next point: avoiding team wipes at all costs.

Don't get teamwiped

gameplay

This is a big frustration for solo players because you obviously struggle to communicate.

But if you're the last person alive on your squad, Think logically: can you get a rest, or do you just need to take yourself out of the fight completely because of tournaments? Team wipes cost you 30% of your total wealth. I've seen teams go from first place to third place just by getting wiped; it's a huge, huge detriment.

You also then have the added delay of respawning, which can mean having the opportunity to push a point again or just having to wait until the end of the game, so keep yourself alive if you're the last one left. Get out of that fight and regroup. Try and go for a revive if you can. You at least want to have two of you up at all times, if possible.

If there's no chance to get a revive, pull back and make your team use one of their respawn tokens. You'll be much better for it.

Destruction

Destruction

Now, finally, destruction is one of the best defenses you can have. It is such a big part of this game, and don't be afraid to use it to your advantage. Elevation is huge for this team. You will just rush to the point where you can get quick kills on them from above, and then you can drop down.

With grenades and explosives, fire all that stuff, and you can just throw it down on top of them with no risk to yourself. Chances are, teams aren't going to come looking for you on the top floor, and they are also using sonar grenades or something like that. Chaos is a huge defense tool. Bring the whole building down if you need to use RPGs; use the sledgehammer; use whatever you've got; reduce the number of routes people can use to access the point; or just bring everything down so that the points are just bouncing around all over the place; throw a jump pad down; launch up into the sky; chaos is a huge part of defending objectives.
